Aaron Schweitzer is the Managing Associate at Troy Law. Mr. Schweitzer received his J.D with a concentration in Public Interest with Employment Law specialization from Fordham University School of Law, which also awarded him the Archibald R. Murray Public Service Award cum laude. He earned his B.A. in History from the Johns Hopkins University.

Mr. Schweitzer has extensive experience advocating for workers, including coordinating SAG-AFTRA’s ongoing videogame strike, assisting Fordham Law’s and Johns Hopkins’s food service workers, assisting Fordham Law’s John Hopkin’s and American University’s food service and their unions and advising worker cooperatives at Lincoln Square Legal Services.

At Troy Law, Mr. Schweitzer has litigated over one hundred fifty (150) wage-and-hour actions in the federal courts, including the Southern, Eastern, and Northern Districts of New York, the District of New Jersey, and the District of Massachusetts. Many of his litigations are multi-plaintiff actions, collective and class actions, and/or wage-and-hour and employment discrimination actions, for which he obtained favorable outcomes in motion practices, settlements in some cases, and unanimous verdict with compensatory and liquidated damages. For his expertise on wage-and-hour litigation, Mr. Schweitzer is an invited panelist on the panel “Recent Trends and Strategic Considerations for Conditional Collective Actions under the Fair Labor Standards Act” at the National Employment Lawyers’ Association-New York 2022 Spring Conference on Representing Employees. Mr. Schweitzer is a top-rated attorney selected to Super Lawyers Rising Stars 2022-2023 by Thomson Reuters.
